One of my favorite places to go in Berkeley is 4th Street. It's nice to get away from the college scene for a bit: (window) shop, grab a coffee, and people watch. I highly recommend you spend a free morning or afternoon here if you are in the 510. It is small town, with big town convenience like the "genius bar" at your service!
