If I had to choose one fruit (I mean city), it would be the Big Apple. Although SF is a close favorite, nothing beats NYC. During a quick trip to the East Coast, I got to stop into Manhattan for the night. Although it was speedy, I instantly felt restored/inspired/energized. Seriously, the place is magical, especially in the Spring. Here are a few photos from our evening adventure.
Until next time New York...
My littlest and most favorite sister graduates this weekend. OMG. We're celebrating all week, East Coast style — polo shirts not included. But, besides feeling old, I couldn't be happier and more excited for the next stage of this little fashionistas life.
Ps: Here are the 5 congratulations (I believe) one should actually be given on graduation day...
1. Congratulations, you can now upgrade to expensive liquor.
2. Congratulations, you've officially proved you have the necessary BS skills to get through life.
3. Congratulations, a bigger bed awaits you!
4. Congratulations, you can now spend that textbook money on clothes.
5. Congratulations, you've proved you truly rock!
So proud of you little sis, exciting things await :)
One of my favorite things about the Spring/Summer are the long nights. Not only am I more productive (cough cough I actually want to go for a run at 7pm) but happy hours and post-work shenanigans are elevated.
Need I say more? Maybe it's an SF thing, but brunch is quickly becoming a tradition. It has changed my weekends, for the tastier.
OMG OMG OMG peonies. Lets freak out.
To avoid bordem (and writer's block), I try to make it a point to explore new places and mix up my "routine." Lately it's been in the form of weekend trips and new restaurants. I started doing this when I was a swimmer and it has made all the difference during my week.
