pushups withOUT polish?

Pushups withOUT Polish?

Did you ever think there could be such a thing?

You know those little nails stickers? The kind you are tempted to buy at the drugstore, but don't...well I put them to the test. Just to see if they are "pushups" proof.

YAYS

-Awesome designs.

-No freakin' chemicals.

-Zero drying time.

-Last about 10 days.

-Easy to do with your opposite hand.

-Clear instructions.

-Comes with extras incase you get messy.

NAYS

-Not quite sure if this houndstooth matches everything.

-Takes some time.

-Lots of little pieces to clean up.

Basically, it can't much get better than using stickers to complement your bling bling

Obsessed.

hair.

1. Frederic Fekkai has changed my life. But really, it keeps my hair under control, like a kid on a leash.

2. The Round brush became my motivation to learn how to do a proper blowdry.

3.My hair mask is how i say "i love you" to my hair.

4. I used to think hairspray was a play, until i realized it's wonders.

5. What would i do without my straightener? Probably be unapproachable.

(ps: totally worth the money. it lasts for years & years/doubles as a curler. win.)

6. Moroccan Oil is a game changer. I raved about it here.

7. Any creation is possible with bobby pins.

8. The only headband that doesn't move while running, studying, or lifting.

tips.

I got crazy this weekend. Blame it on the...finals.

I died dyed. My hair pink.

I tried what people are pinning about and what the tabloids are talkin' about.

ENTER --> neon tips.

Yes, I'm guilty.

Anyways, everyone is talkin' about the "Color Bug."

But I don't have $20 to play "temporary" rockstar every now and then, thus temporary Halloween spray (at Christmas time) did the trick.

LBH (lets be honest) it was fun to try and mix things up, but I probably won't do it again unless a record deal or theme party suddenly come my way.

But I want you to decide. YAY or NAY?

YAYS

-Temporary.

-Removal from boring hair rut.

-Inexpensive if you go the "costume spray" route...

-Fast and easy.

-Available in tons of colors (found here

-Trendy.

-Fun & funny.

NAYS

-Left my hands pink, oh so pink!

-Didn't match my outfit...

-Possibly "man repelling."

-The fumes might have created the headache I had an hour later? But who's to blame?

shitake mushrooms my ends need a trim!!

so routine.

1. Nude polish, you can't tell if it chips and it goes well with everything [but, every now and then I like to add brightcolors!]

2.Cover Girl "Lash Blast." Amazing. The "waterproof" part lets it lasts all day and won't smudge breaking a sweat.

3. Sephora makes the perfect eyeliner. I own many colors and even the jumbo pencil for a more "smokey" eye. Love it.

4. Amanda introduced me to this stuff! I love it. I use it as foundation (waterproof & spf) or sometimes when I want a more natural look, I just put it on blemishes and it lasts all day.

5. Nars cream eye-shadow. My favorite. It's perfect for a little color and also works as the perfect base if you like to add loose shimmer.

6. Pretty much addicted to lip balm, so if it has a bit of color, even better!

7. Lip stain adds color and lasts all day! (Cover Girl also has great colors.)

8. Lastly, Nars makes the best blush. End of story.

ps: Speaking of the "daily method," has anyone ever taken a class? I want to try it out!

The Review

The good

Very fine tip that allows for detail, comes in tons & tons of colors, and you get a "flower" without the salon price.

The bad

Can't write with your opposite hand? Good luck to you...

The pushup

Try this diamond pushup with your polish

the beauty aisle.

Bad: Cheap seats, cheap wine, cheapskates

Good: Cheap makeup!

Cheap makeup, the drugstore kind, is the best kind! With some searching of the aisles, you can find every beauty product you need without busting your budget. There is always a sale and the options are endless. Creating looks that work for you is easy and affordable.

You now know where my sister and I spend our spare time...

Moments like this...why I consider myself a "Product Junkie."

I'm currently obsessing over lip stain. It stays on all day, even during a workout. Many brands have testers to try before you buy (hence the above pic.)

See no testers? Don't worry, many drugstores have a generous return policy if you absolutely hate it, just show your receipt!

The options are ENDLESS and very inexpensive. Best part? Not feeling guilty if you hate the lipstick the lady on commission at Macy's convinced you to buy.

Anddd, I love being about to experiment/copy looks from magazines on any budget. Be BRAVE, try the color you would least expect!

Spending a little extra time reading the label lets you choose which product is best. Some products are sheer, matte, glittery, waterproof, etc. You guessed it, I usually go with the "waterproof" version.

Now now, I own makeup from everywhere: MAC, CVS, Sephora, Chanel (remember I'm a sucker for products.) I can honestly say, that I have rarely noticed a difference in quality! Just don't go "cheap date" on your brushes, those make all the difference.
