funky vs. fabulous.

Funky vs. Fabulous...this is my Easter dress edition, and no, it will never be pastel or lace...  

Funky

-lipstick on your teeth.

-when it is sunny but really cold outside.

-over packing...but not with the right things.

-bird poop on da car. 

-walking. walking. walking. WALL!

-when the wind blows up your dress. nobody be lookin'! 

-the grad fair. man, i don't even have a job and you want mooolah. 

-wow the nerve the airport has to charge $4 for a coffee. 

- almost succeeding in eating the entire chocolate bunny...in one sitting.  

-falling asleep in the middle seat on the airplane.  

-online returns. brutal. 

Fabulous 

-the last few weeks. 

-traveling. 

-going into Target and NOT spending my entire budget. 

-being like "hey...you went to my high school?" and now being like "hey you're my new bff."  

-springness: flowers, weather, bunnies...

-a really crispy french fry. 

-surprise Easter baskets.

-makin' new friends all over the place!

happy st. patrick's day

Once upon a time, 

Before I discovered my hair straightener and texting...

My family and I found our little piece of Ireland. 

And although we still talk "normal" and prefer the "right" side of the road...

I gotta say, there's no place like the pub home.

lucky charms

 Happy (almost) St. Patty's Day. 

Nothing beats combing marshmallow goodness with more marshmallow goodness. 

ummm yeahh, it just screams LUCKY. 

Here is how how the Irish I do it...

{Supplies} 

1 box of Lucky Charms (cereal kind, not the witch/harry potter kind)

Almost the entire bag of mini marshmallows 

About 3 tablespoons of butter

Brownie pan (9x9)

Pot (the legal kind)

{Steps} 

Melt the butter and marshmallows in the pot on low(ish) heat. Keep stirring and be careful not to burn 'em. 

When melted, dump the box of lucky charms into the white fluff. Stir n' coat the cereal. 

Put into greased pan. Let sit for a bit and cut into squares (or eat right away if you like it gooey!)
