s'mor(ish)

i first saw this video here and ever since have become obsessed with the mystery that could a s'more could get EVEN better? Not to mention, a little healthier, etc, etc.

So here is the plan...I say eat this "in season" and leave the real deal (cough cough chocolate) to after that "big race!" Athlete style.

All about compromise right?

lucky charms

 Happy (almost) St. Patty's Day.

Nothing beats combing marshmallow goodness with more marshmallow goodness.

ummm yeahh, it just screams LUCKY.

Here is how how the Irish I do it...

{Supplies}

1 box of Lucky Charms (cereal kind, not the witch/harry potter kind)

Almost the entire bag of mini marshmallows

About 3 tablespoons of butter

Brownie pan (9x9)

Pot (the legal kind)

{Steps}

Melt the butter and marshmallows in the pot on low(ish) heat. Keep stirring and be careful not to burn 'em.

When melted, dump the box of lucky charms into the white fluff. Stir n' coat the cereal.

Put into greased pan. Let sit for a bit and cut into squares (or eat right away if you like it gooey!)

(if you need a more official recipie, go here)

PS: Keep an eye out for more Irish posts, I love meee dem Irish. More to come on all that...

oscar recipes.

I treat the Academy Awards like a holiday. Yes, I am that person. I can't help but waste my entire Sunday with my eyes glued to the TV hoping to be there one day...you know asking people important stuff, like what they are wearing. Anyways, until then I won't be on a dress detox, rather using this as another excuse to have a party.

chocolate covered pretzels.

Oh lookie what I made this week, CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS...with sprinkles on top.

Scrumptious my friends, just scrumdiddlyumptious!

Pretzel rods > "lightning rods"

{Supplies} Pretzel rods, chocolate (I used "Bakers" melting chocolate bars,) sprinkles, bowl (to melt chocolate), parchment paper, cookie sheet

{Steps} Melt chocolate. Dip rods. Sprinkle sprinkles. Let stand for 30+ minutes. Eat.

"Salty and sweet" anything is my all time FAVORITE indulgence. To prevent myself from eating the entire batch, I sent some to my sister in NYC. Share the love riiiiiight
