Now, everybody in the club, restaurant, salon, get TIPSy.

It's just the polite thing to do and a shankss for a job well done!

So here's the 2cents (no pun intended) with tipping people, not cows.

food delivery: 10 to 15% of the bill

shuttle-bus driver: up to $2

waiter: 15% to 20% of the bill

-note: when splitting a bill, include the 20% tip of your portion of the bill into the $ "pile" -

bar tender: 15% to 20% of the tab, with a minimum of 50 cents per soft drink, $1 per alcoholic drink

manicurist: 15%

cab driver: 15% plus a $1 or $2 for help with bags

Spa service: 15-20%

(ps: I didn't put in the rules for "doormen" or "dog walkers" because most of us don't have that...yet

naughty knots.

GAHHHH so annoying when necklace chains get all tangled up together and even worse those tiny little knots in the chain! So, if you don't live with a jeweler (I'm a very lucky girl) here are some simple tips to restore your the BLING :) good knot.

  • Place your chain on a smooth surface that isn't too slippery. Then unhook the clasp so your chain is in one continuous line
  • Place a little baby powder (powder keeps it from sticking) into the knot and rub it between your fingers. If you don't have any powder just try to loosen up the knot between your fingers.
  • Using tweezers (or something with a sharp point) pull outward on the knot.
  • Clean your chain with some jewelry cleaner and then hang it up or put it in a small bag/compartment so it doesn't get tangled again!
